LIMINAL SPACE

Liminal space – 2023

LIMINAL SPACE is a place where resides everything that stays in between, in the now and the next, in the edge moments, in the transition phases of becoming, arriving, landing. This installation-performance is an invitation to let yourself navigate around our liminal dimension, and wander with us how we can suspend and amplify these moments of transitioning. 

Live music, visuals and physical movement intertwine with each other to recreate a state of uncertainty, directionlessness and suspendedness on one hand, and curiosity and excitement about the unknown on the other. LIMINAL SPACE is an ode to the space in between, to emphasize the value of times of transitioning and the joy that they might contain.  

LIMINAL SPACE was a collaboration with the two dancers Mariona Vinyes Ràfols and Polina Nikolaeva and the musician Yannick Wandel. It was performed during Schok (Schoorlse Kunsten) in Schoorl, The Netherlands in 2023 in theatre ‘De Blinkerd’.
